Day-to-day responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services.
- Collaborate with the product and frontend teams to implement new features.
- Optimize databases and APIs to ensure performance and reliability.
- Review code and propose improvements to raise software quality.
- Implement security best practices and manage deployments in production environments.
- Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting production incidents.
- Document processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the technology stack.
What we are looking for
- 2–4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Strong command of backend languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Node.js, depending on the current stack).
- Experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Proficiency in version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly.
- Proactivity and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, expanding environment.
